15-year-old Emirati set for second F4 season
PREMA Racing announces that Rashid Al Dhaheri will compete in a full-scale Formula 4 programme with the team in 2024, including the Italian Formula 4 Championship and the Euro4 Championship.
The 15-year-old Emirati racer made his competitive debut in May last year, only a few days after turning 15, but quickly showed remarkable potential and progressed throughout the season to achieve numerous points finishes, including several top-5s and rookie podiums. He also secured an overall podium finish in the Macau Grand Prix Formula 4 Race, before cruising to his maiden F4 win in the South East Asia Championship.
His karting career had been equally impressive, featuring the WSK Super Master Series and Champions Cup titles in Mini and OKJ. Entering the 2024 season, he will continue to drive the #14 car in the Italian and European series, while he will also compete in additional events that will be announced in due course.
