PREMA, Stolcermanis join forces for 2024 Formula 4 programme

Young Latvian steps up for Italian F4, Euro4 campaigns

PREMA, Stolcermanis join forces for 2024 Formula 4 programme

PREMA Racing is thrilled to announce that Tomass Stolcermanis will compete with the team in the 2024 Italian F4 Championship and in the Euro4 series.

The 16-year-old Latvian made his debut with the team in the penultimate round of the 2023 Formula 4 SEA Championship, claiming his maiden podium and a triple points finish, and will also enter the final rounds of the F4 UAE Championship.

Stolcermanis had a successful karting career, highlighted by a third place in the 2023 FIA Karting European Championship in KZ2. Late last year, he took part in the Supercorso, the traditional year-end course held by the Italian federation, and was awarded the Del Balzo Trophy.

He will now be heading for the start of his first full-time campaign starting at Misano in early May.

Angelo Rosin - Team Principal
"Tomass has a remarkable talent and left a strong impression in his first outings with our team. We have been keeping an eye on him and we are happy to finally announce him for the 2024 season. It is set to be a challenging one for him, with so many high-profile competitors moving up full-time from karting with some single-seater experience as well, but we are fully committed to helping him to make the most out of every opportunity."

"Just wow! What can be better than starting my single-seater career with a high-performance team such as PREMA? I'm out of words to describe how grateful I am for this opportunity! I already made my F4 debut with PREMA and I’m very happy with the team. I can’t wait to have more and begin our 2024 journey together! I'm excited to start my rookie season. It will be very difficult to fight with the best drivers in the world, but I’m sure that team will give me their full power and we’ll have a good growth. I’ll keep doing each turn and each step my best!"
