PREMA Racing has complicated Sprint Race at Barcelona
PREMA Racing had a difficult day at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, in the Sprint Race for the FIA Formula 2 Championship at the Spanish venue. The team had to deal with a troubled car balance which created strong understeer, affecting the runs of both Kimi Antonelli and Ollie Bearman.
The Italian started from P6 and dropped one spot in the turn 1 traffic, and then had to surrender a few more positions. In addition, a track limits post-race penalty dropped him to P15. Bearman also faced a challenging situation with the same kind of issues, which forced him to settle for P21.
#3 OLLIE BEARMAN
"Tough race today, really really struggling for pace. Sad to have had a race like this. Hopefully, we can improve for tomorrow."
#4 KIMI ANTONELLI
"The start was not amazing as I lost one position in turn 1, and then a very difficult race overall, lacking some pace. We were struggling with the balance, we had a lot of understeer and that damaged the front left tyre. We'll see what we can do tomorrow and what the weather will be like. We just need to reset and refocus."
