PREMA Racing ends tough session with P11, P15
PREMA Racing went back on track in qualifying for the final round of the FIA Formula 2 Championship today at Yas Marina. The team once again experienced a challenging session and ended up outside of the top 10 with drivers Kimi Antonelli and Olile Bearman.
The British racer, who struggled to put a lap together despite some promising glimpses of speed, had to settle for P15. On the other hand, the Italian could not find the right chemistry with the brakes in the second run after matching the frontrunners early on. He eventually settled for the 11th spot. A late red-flag situation further complicated their life, reducing their chances to fight back.

"Tough last qualifying, it's not the way I wanted to finish. I have been struggling to put the whole lap together. It was tough to have the tyres in the right window for the whole lap and I think it was our main issue today. The car was fast, not in the same lap but I think it can be fast for the race. Let's keep our hopes high and try to finish F2 well!"
#4 KIMI ANTONELLI
"It was looking good on set one, but in set two, I struggled with the brakes. I felt that the pedal was quite long, and I struggled to put the pressure. That compromised the run a lot. We deserved a much better placing today, especially looking at set 1. It's a shame, but I'll do my absolute best in the last two races of the season."
