French racer set for second full season in single-seaters
PREMA Racing announces that Doriane Pin will continue to compete under the team's banner for the 2025 season. Pin will be entering the F1 Academy series and the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, once again as a Mercedes-AMG F1 Team junior driver and an Iron Dame.
A 20-year-old Frenchwoman, Pin joined PREMA in 2023 for the FIA World Endurance Championship. Following her success, which included a podium finish in the 1000 Miles of Sebring, she made the switch to single-seaters and entered the Formula 4 SAE and UAE championships, scoring two wins and five podium finishes.
In 2024, she moved to F1 Academy and quickly gained traction in the series, with a win and three podiums in the first two races. After bouncing back from injury, she achieved two more wins, totalling eight podiums and five pole positions to finish second in drivers' points.
She also joined the Iron Dames team in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, in two rounds of FIA WEC and in the 24 Hours of Daytona.
After a successful karting experience, Doriane started her auto racing career in 2020 first in touring cars, and then in GT racing. In 2022, she made an outstanding breakthrough by winning the Ferrari Challenge Europe - Trofeo Pirelli Pro title, which eventually led to her FIA WEC debut, first in GTE and later in LMP2.
Coming from her impressive form in the final part of the year, she will compete in the last three rounds of the 2025 Formula Regional Middle East Championship to prepare for the season.
Rene Rosin - Team Principal
"We are proud of what Doriane accomplished in 2024 and we are delighted to continue working with her in 2025. Transitioning to a new environment in single-seaters, she was focused and determined as she climbed her learning curve while defying adversities. The results proved she has the potential to be a top competitor, and we cannot wait to see where she will be able to go from here."
