PREMA Racing set for dual Middle Eastern challenge

Mumbai Falcons tie-up continues into 2025

PREMA Racing set for dual Middle Eastern challenge

PREMA Racing will be competing once again in the Middle East in early January 2025 as the team will continue to field cars in the recently-rebranded F4 Middle East Championship and support the Mumbai Falcons Racing Limited effort in the same series and in the Formula Regional Middle East Championship.

The team will be fielding three Tatuus-built Formula 4 racecars for Oleksandr Bondarev, Zhenrui Chi and Sebastian Wheldon. While Bondarev already debuted in the Italian F4 Championship with promising outings, Chi and Wheldon raced in the Formula Trophy with remarkable success. The former achieved three podium including one in his debut race, while the latter took a win in the series finale.

Four drivers will be composing the Mumbai Falcons stable. Tomass Stolcermanis, Kean Nakamura-Berta, and Salim Hanna will be joined by Indian racer Arjun Chheda, who is coming from the 2024 French F4 Championship.

The Mumbai Falcons Formula Regional field will include the four PREMA Racing drivers for the 2025 FRECA season, plus a welcomed addition. F4 Champion Freddie Slater will headline the team's entry, joined by teammates Rashid Al Dhaheri and Jack Beeton for the full championship. The trio will be running in their maiden Formula Regional campaign. British racer Reza Seewooruthun will take part in the first two events of the series, while Doriane Pin will be joining for the following two rounds as she prepares for her busy 2025 season. The driver for the fifth and final round will be announced at a later date.

Rene Rosin - Team Principal
“We always enjoy racing in the Middle East for our winter preparations. The championships are high-value and we think we have exceptional lineups all across the board. We are extremely proud to continue our collaboration with Mumbai Falcons, which has already led to considerable success in the last few years. The partnership will feature two new drivers for F4 MEC and FRMEC, and we cannot wait to get it started.”
