PREMA, Monolith unite to push boundaries in INDYCAR setup innovation

Leading machine learning platform to provide cutting-edge setup optimisation solutions

PREMA Racing is delighted to announce that the team has joined forces with cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) software provider Monolith, which will become its AI development partner effective immediately and for the ongoing season.

Monolith's highly advanced machine learning platform will deliver bespoke models for PREMA's Engineering department in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES. In addition, the partnership will extend to single-seater competition, as it will also be sponsoring the organisation’s FIA Formula 2 Championship and FIA Formula 3 Championship outfits, effective immediately.

Monolith's proprietary AI technology will produce bespoke models that will allow the team to unlock on-track performance through smart racecar setup optimisation, implementing customised aerodynamic maps, virtual sensors, and trackside anomaly detection to validate incoming data from the track in real time.

In addition to analysing the variables affecting racecar set-up, from track characteristics and weather situations to driving styles, the ground-breaking solution will also provide cost- and time-efficiency gains.

With the team now approaching the most important and challenging race of the season, the Indianapolis 500, relying on Monolith will help the operation to kickstart its growth, making further steps forward in its new journey.
