PREMA secures podium finish in tight 2025 finale

R10 Monza - FIA Formula 3 Race 2 Report

PREMA Racing wrapped up the 2025 FIA Formula 3 Championship with a strong performance at Monza, continuing the strong momentum of the second part of the year and delivering a podium finish with Noel Leon.

The Mexican started from the second row of the grid and had a consistent race in the heated Feature Race, finishing in third place and his second podium of the season.

Ugo Ugochukwu started from the front row and fought for the lead in the opening stages, and was a legitimate contender. Unfortunately, the American spun at Ascari and ended up with a DNF what has been a mighty impressive weekend.

Brando Badoer also put up an impressive pace, battling in the top-10 but eventually having to settle for P14.
With great promise on display in the final part of the year, the team is now looking to jump back into preparation mode for the 2026 season.

#1 BRANDO BADOER

"The pace today was really strong but some racing situations didn’t turn in our favour and set us back and finished in 14th position. We need to take the positives and today the pace was really strong."

#2 NOEL LEÓN

"Great race to finish the season with a P3 here at Monza, home track for the team so grateful for all the work that we did this season, the progress in general. We started quite far and now we were battling for the win so super happy for that. I want to thank all Prema team, all my engineers, my mechanics for the hard work. Grazie a tutti."

#3 UGO UGOCHUKWU

"Not the best way to finish the season. Started from P2, had a few good laps and spun in Ascari with a bit of gravel on the track. It is what it is unfortunately, pace was good, just a small mistake that cost the race."
