The Italian Formula 4 Championship returns for the penultimate round of the season at an iconic international venue as the series lines up at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The team is coming from a successful weekend as the Spanish Grand Prix venue is home to the E4 Championship, and is looking forward to continuing and extending the positive recent run.
Kean Nakamura-Berta is headlining the field with P1 in overall points, and the Japanese-Slovakian is interested in adding more wins to his already impressive year. Out of 14 races entered so far, Nakamura-Berta ended up off the podium only three times.
Sebastian Wheldon is chasing him in P3. The American showcased outstanding passing skills last time around and is aiming for a positive weekend right from the start, especially in qualifying. The same goes for Salim Hanna. The Colombian is dominating the rookie classification, but with three overall podiums, the potential is consistent. He is currently ranked P5 in the overall standings.
Speaking of results, Newman Chi and Oleksandr Bondarev secured overall wins in the last couple of rounds. The Chinese and the Ukrainian made strong progress, and their goal for them will be to back that up with more success. Last but not least, Frenchman Andrea Dupe will continue climbing his learning curve after a promising weekend in the E4 series.
ANGELO ROSIN - Team Founder
"Barcelona is home to an important weekend as we need to consolidate our lead heading into the championship finale. It's an important circuit for drivers to perform on, because it is a staple of junior single seaters and is visited by every championship on the way up. Action is always quite close here, which makes it even better as a learning experience, and we are ready to see what our drivers will learn and be able to achieve."
