PREMA Racing announces that Oleksandr "Sasha" Bondarev will continue competing with the team for the 2026 Formula 4 season. The Ukrainian driver joined PREMA's karting operation in 2023 and won the WSK Champions Cup in 2024. Also in 2024, he became part of the Williams Racing Driver Academy.
Later the same year, he set foot in Italian Formula 4 with a preparation program for his full-time car racing debut that came to fruition with the 2025 Formula 4 UAE Championship. Entering his maiden Italian F4 and E4 season, he was contending for the rookie championship and eventually claimed the E4 rookie title. He also achieved his first overall Italian F4 win at Imola.
With more experience to rely on, Bondarev is aiming for a step in the upcoming Italian F4 Championship and in the E4 Championship. Additional appearances will be announced in due course.
