Biography

Oscar Piastri is viewed as one of the most outstanding drivers of his generation. After starting competing in RC cars at a very young age in Australia, he switched to motor racing and joined forces with Mark Webber who is still his manager. Ending up second in his first season in Europe, he experienced an outstanding stint, joining  the Alpine Academy in the process. Following the Formula Renault Eurocup title, he moved to PREMA Racing to claim the FIA Formula 3 and Formula 2 titles in consecutive years. His rookie F2 campaign was impressive, with six wins and five consecutive pole positions. He was promoted to reserve driver for the Alpine F1 team for 2022.
