Biography

Fabrizio Giovanardi is one of the most winning touring car drivers of all times, if not the most winning. After running for PREMA and three Formula 3000 seasons with one win, he switched to the Italian Superturismo class, winning the 1992 title. In 1997, he won the Spanish title, starting a monumental career under the Alfa Romeo banner. He repeated himself in Italy in the following two years, then went on to score three European titles. He switched to Vauxhall, cruising to two BTCC titles, in the late 2000s. He then joined Honda in 2011 to take the European Touring Car Cup again in 2011.
