Antonio Giovinazzi

Biography

After a positive karting career, Giovinazzi made his car racing debut at the age of 17 in the Formula Pilota China championship. Despite a relatively late start, he quickly achieved remarkable success, winning the Asian competition and ending up second in the British Formula 3 Championship in 2013. In 2015, he scored the same result in the European Championship, winning the Masters GP in Zandvoort. He joined PREMA for the 2016 GP2 Series season, claiming five wins in his rookie season and finishing as a runner-up to teammate Pierre Gasly. He made his F1 debut in 2017 and later found a full-time spot at Alfa Romeo Sauber in 2019. He entered 62 races, before moving to the Formula E World Championship.
