Biography

Stroll started racing in karting at 10, and quickly rose to attention as a promising prospect in his native Canada and in the US. He joined PREMA at the very start of his career, competing in the 2014 Florida Winter Series and later in the Italian Formula 4 Championship, which he won courtesy of 10 wins and 10 poles. He was fifth in the 2015 FIA Formula 3 European Championship after winning the Toyota Racing Series at the beginning of the year. He took the F3 title in his second year, amassing 14 wins and 14 poles. In 2017, he moved to Formula 1 racing for Williams, where he claimed his maiden podium and helped the team to finish fifth in points. He joined Racing Point in 2019, taking his maiden pole and two podiums in 2020, staying with the team for 2021 under the Aston Martin banner.
