The 15-year-old Red Bull Junior will compete with the team next year
British racer Arvid Lindblad will join PREMA for the 2023 Formula 4 season, the team is proud to announce.
Lindblad, who made his single-seater debut last year by entering the two final rounds of the Italian Formula 4 Championship, will compete in the 2023 Italian Formula 4 Championship as his main commitment, which will be complemented by additional events.
Born in the UK, the 15-year-old Red Bull Junior driver made his debut in British karting competition in 2015, and soon became one of the most impressive prospects in kart racing.
In 2020, he won the WSK Super Master Series in the OK Junior class, before claiming the WSK Euro Series title in the OK category in 2021. Later the same year, he also achieved the WSK Final Cup, placing third in the FIA European and World Championships.
Lining up for his first races in single-seaters, he collected overall points finishes at Monza and Mugello and is now aiming to use the early experiences to boost his learning curve for the upcoming season.
Angelo Rosin - Team Principal
"The addition of Arvid to our line-up is a promising and welcomed one. He showed amazing potential during his karting career and quickly got up to speed in his early transition to single-seaters. Our Formula 4 programme is growing stronger and stronger by the day, and we are already working with the drivers to prepare for the season ahead, which will definitely be intense for everybody. I'm sure that Lindblad will play a key role, and we think his addition will soon prove a success."

“I am extremely happy to be racing with PREMA in F4 in the 2023 season. PREMA has been very successful, winning many championships in all single-seater categories in the past; with many of the current F1 grid having raced with them. They also dominated the F4 championships this season. Therefore I’m very excited to be starting my single-seater career with them. Really grateful to Red Bull and PREMA for the opportunity. Can’t wait to get started."
