R03 Vallelunga - Italian F4 Championship Race Preview

With two rounds down, five to go, the Italian Formula 4 Championship is set for the traditional trip to Vallelunga and PREMA Racing will be on track with its full line-up. 

After a scintillating run in the Misano opener, an a hard-fought event in Vallelunga, the team is looking for a consistently positive effort at the Roman venue. 

British racer Freddie Slater is in the lead of the driver standings with four wins out of six races held so far. He is back to the same track that gave him his first podium in the series last year. PREMA is also holding the point in the Rookie Championship with Tomass Stolcermanis. The latvian is currently in a three-way battle with fellow teammates Alex Powell and Kean Nakamura-Berta.

The Jamaican-American also stands fourth in the overall championship with three podiums, while the Japanese-Slovakian is making a new step in his season. Having made a great breakthrough with two podiums in Imola, Indian Dion Gowda has moved to P6 in points with the goal of making up even more ground. 

Last but not least, Rashid Al Dhaheri has been a solid points scorer and is eyeing a further move up the field on a good track for him in the past.
