PREMA Racing and Ugo Ugochukwu continued their solid run in the middle stint of the 2025 FIA Formula 3 Championship season. The American put together the sixth fastest lap of qualifying at Spa-Francorchamps, mastering the challenging track and securing two positive starting spots, not far away from the lead.
Brando Badoer showed good potential and eventually finished in P14, laying down promising foundations for further advancements in both races.
Noel Leon had a tough session, as track limits violations deprived him of multiple fast laps. That forced him to settle for a lowly P27. However, on a good track for overtaking, he will be going for a rebound starting from tomorrow's Sprint Race.
#1 - BRANDO BADOER
“Qualy done here in Spa, and I think we maximized the results. This morning, we ran into a bit of an issue, but we bounced back and achieved the best result we could bring home today. Let’s see what will be up in the races tomorrow.”
#2 - NOEL LEON
“Very disappointing qualifying, to be honest, I didn’t put a good lap on the board due to track limits infringements. I apologize to the team for that type of mistake, which should not happen. We’ll try to recover as much as we can for the races, but it’s going to be quite difficult to start from the back.”
#3 - UGO UGOCHUKWU
“Overall, not a bad qualy with P6 in the end. I had the potential to maybe sneak into the top five, but I was just missing a little bit of pace on the last run. Still, good starting positions for both races, and hopefully, we can move forward and score points.”
