PREMA Racing will continue its Formula Regional European by Alpine campaign with an event close to home at Imola, as the series returns to kick off the second half of 2025 ahead of the summer break. The team is coming from a positive weekend at Circuit Paul Ricard, where British Freddie Slater posted a double win and teammate Rashid Al Dhaheri made it a 1-2 in Race 2.
Slater, who recaptured the lead in the driver championship, will be back at the popular Italian venue after taking one win there in F4 last year. The flowing up-and-down layout is often highly praised by drivers, and with more ground to make, Al Dhaheri will look to add more top results in his effort to catch up. After an unlucky stint in the early part of the year, he's looking to build on such great momentum. On the other hand, Jack Beeton has shown good potential multiple times but has been through some ups and downs. He will seek a stable and consistent weekend to make positive gains, especially in the tricky group qualifying.
With some fine racing weather expected, except for some minor threats on Saturday, the PREMA crew is expecting a clean and safe event at Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari.
RENÉ ROSIN - Team Principal
"We come from an extremely positive weekend with the two wins at Paul Ricard. We hope to carry that momentum into Imola to kick off a consistent second half of the season for all drivers. They all made progress and all have experience at the circuit. Freddie has shown what he can do with wins, while Rashid has been fighing for podiums or even more. Despite not being the luckiest recently, we think Jack can also build on his experience this year and get up there consistently."
