PREMA Racing is headed back to Formula 4 competition as the team enters the second round of the E4 Championship at Mugello. The flowing Italian circuit is home to the midpoint event of the series after the Paul Ricard opener in July.
The PREMA field will feature a full pack of six cars, headlined by Kean Nakamura-Berta. The Japanese-Slovakian secured one win in the Italian F4 round at Mugello, and is standing second in E4 points with a triple podium in the season opener. Sebastian Wheldon sits close to him in the standings, while rookie Oleksandr Bondarev, relying on a triple points finish, has also earned a top-10 position, highlighting his recent progress.
Chinese racer Newman Chi and Colombian Salim Hanna have one point finish each as they faced tough fortunes in the previous round, and they are both looking to bounce back on Italian soil. Andrea Dupe will be returning to continue his learning process, looking to complete a solid weekend.
The weekend might get tricky with variable conditions expected at some point, which are even more challenging on a complex track made of high-speed corners.
ANGELO ROSIN - Team Founder
"We are looking forward to a valuable weekend here at Mugello, as it's the second time for our F4 team programme at this track this year, and it would be great to see progress as we already approach the midpoint of this championship. We have seen very positive signs across the board, and we hope to continue that with some good results."
