Coming from Barcelona, the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine is headed to Hockenheim. For the penultimate round of the 2025 series, PREMA is looking to make a key step and lines up with Freddie Slater tied for the lead of the driver championship, determined to break away in the final two races. The 17-year-old Brit has clear potential, and the team aims to support it and repeat the winning results achieved during the season.
Rashid Al Dhaheri also has battled for podium finishes so far, and while Barcelona didn't go according to plan for him, Hockenheim might offer a positive opportunity. A track that is not normally on the radar for junior single-seaters offers the chance for a reset.
On the other hand, Jack Beeton made good progress in what has been a bit of an up-and-down season for him so far. The Australian will have two more opportunities to shine and end the year on a high. Last but not least, Chinese Yuanpu Cui will return to the team for his second FRECA outing to continue his learning experience.
With relatively cold weather expected and some chances of rain, the weekend will offer plenty to manage and more chances to take advantage of.
RENÉ ROSIN - Team Principal
"Being in such a competitive position in terms of the championship, it's time to step up, and we look to Hockenheim as a good opportunity. Doing a solid job here right from the start will definitely pave the way ahead of the finale. Qualifying will be especially important on such a technical track, and that will be the main thing to focus on. Weather will be different than what we have been used to recently, and that will need to be taken into account too."
