The 2026 FIA Formula Regional European Championship will be reaching its halfway mark this season as it continues its run on some of the most iconic tracks in motorsport. After starting at Red Bull Ring and moving to Zandvoort and Spa-Francorchamps, the series will take on another legendary venue in Monza.
PREMA Racing is looking forward to one of its home tracks. The Italian Temple of Speed is a high-speed circuit with tight chicanes and long straights that demand timing, strategy and precision in qualifying and in the races.
The team and its three FIA FREC drivers have remarkable experience at Monza. Kean Nakamura-Berta delivered four wins there during his Italian F4 and E4 title runs, including an incredible hat-trick of poles and victories in the 2025 finale. Salim Hanna also put up impressive performances at Monza as a rookie last year, while Tomass Stolcermanis already had the chance to make his Formula Regional debut at the venue in the 2025 FRECA finale, taking a top-10 finish.
Having the experience and potential to accomplish their mission, everyone at PREMA Racing feels determined ahead of the coming weekend and ready to perform and make a difference.
STEPHEN MITAS - TEAM PRINCIPAL & CEO
"We go from Spa to Monza, another great venue in motorsport. It is a legendary circuit where raw speed, slipstreaming, and strategic thinking all come into play in a way that makes for a truly unique and exciting challenge. Kean had a solid weekend in Belgium and we are looking forward to seeing him take another step forward here, building on the progress he has shown. Tomass and Salim both know this circuit well, and that familiarity should work in their favour as we look to make a strong impression across the weekend."
