R04 Zandvoort - F1 Academy Race Preview

PREMA set for round four at challenging Dutch venue

R04 Zandvoort - F1 Academy Race Preview

The F1 Academy series is back for round four of 2023 this weekend and will run on one of the most challenging tracks in Europe, Zandvoort. PREMA Racing will compete at the Dutch venue with its three-car line-up consisting of Marta Garcia, Bianca Bustamante and Chloe Chong. Laying on the Atlantic shores outside Amsterdam, Zandvoort has flowing, often banked high-speed corners that are highly-technical. Having already driven there Garcia is looking forward to continuing her positive run. With a consistent lead in the driver championship, the 22-year-old Spaniard has won three times and secured six podiums in nine races, including six on home soil. Bustamante also had a competitive start winning one race at Valencia and putting together solid potential. The 18-year-old from the Philippines is currently fifth in points, still within striking distance. Last, but not least, British-Canadian Chloe Chong will be back on track after a tough weekend in Barcelona to fight back to the points-scoring form of earlier.

Rene Rosin - Team Principal

"It has been an exciting season so far. We are thrilled to see so much progress from our drivers as they continue working to develop their skills. Zandvoort is not an easy track and will definitely bring a learning experience that will help in terms of knowing the circuit, but will also provide some valuable instruments for the future."
