PREMA Racing lines up for penultimate round of 2023
Coming from a successful run at the Italian temple of speed at Monza, PREMA Racing will compete at another legendary venue this weekend for the penultimate round of the 2023 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine. The Dutch Grand Prix venue, located close to Amsterdam on the North Sea shore, has a reputation for its technical medium-fast corners, including two highly-banked ones, and for being particularly unforgiving.
Andrea Kimi Antonelli will line up at the 4.2-kilometer course as the championship leader, having just achieved his fourth win of the year at Monza. The Italian, who also secured four poles this year, will try to gain more ground starting from qualifying.
Brazilian Rafael Camara is determined to improve his championship position. Having three poles and two wins is a good foundation, as he looks to move up from his current fourth place.
Last but not least, Spaniard Lorenzo Fluxá is hungry for positive placings after going close to a podium finish at Monza. He will aim to execute the weekend from the beginning.
The full PREMA stable is heading into Zandvoort with an edge in terms of the Team Championship and will make the most to maximize the weekend on a track where putting everything together will be the most pivotal task.
