Prema Powerteam is ready to return to F.Renault competition after a break started in 2008. The team, managed by Angelo Rosin, will be entering the two closing rounds of the Fast Lane-promoted Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS season, scheduled for the first weekend of October at Mugello and for the 20th-21st of October at Montmelò, Barcelona. In addition to the ALPS Series, Prema will be traveling to Spa-Francorchamps to enter the north European-based F.Renault 2.0 NEC Series. Two cars will be lined-up in all three occasions, with current Formula Abarth regulars Bruno Bonifacio and Luca Ghiotto behind the wheel.
Prema has a long history of success in Formula Renault 2.0 racing. As an official outfit of the Toyota Junior program, Prema cruised to several titles, with Ryan Briscoe in 2001, Franck Perera in 2003 and Kamui Kobayashi in 2005. The Japanese racer also won the European championship in the same season.

"We're looking forward for this comeback in F.Renault racing. As always, when a new program starts, things get pretty emotional. We have great memories from this category where we entered since its early stages in 2000. The market then led us to take different paths and it's for the same reasons that now we're rejoining Renault. After a brief downturn, it's back to its former glory as the benchmark environment in European developmental racing.
