PREMA Racing braces for Baku high-speed street run
The FIA Formula 2 Championship is moving fast, and the F1 support series is already proceeding into the middle part of the season with its trip to Baku. The Azerbaijani venue has become a modern classic for the series, with its unique character. Long, fast straights on the Black Sea shore and tight corners around the historical Citadel will be a challenging proving ground for PREMA Racing and its drivers.
The pairing of Dennis Hauger and Jehan Daruvala will bring a mix of extremely valuable experience and rookie freshness for the team to rely on the 6-kilometer circuit. With the 1-2 finish achieved at Monte Carlo, both the Norwegian and the Indian showed great pace but will have to deliver right from practice and qualifying.
With the championship now at a key crossroad before hitting its midpoint at Silverstone, the team looks forward to Baku as a powerful occasion not to miss.

"It seems like we started the season yesterday, but we are deep into it with the event in Baku that has become a true classic. This is a unique circuit with unique challenges, high-speeds, slipstreams and some tight corners with no runoff areas. It really is important to stay 100 percent focused. We expect Jehan to take full advantage of his experience and guide the team throughout the weekend. We are delighted for how Dennis is progressing, and we think he will definitely be in the game for something good. We had a good run in the past at Baku in terms of podium finishes, so the goal for us is to continue the same way. With the pace we have seen at Monte Carlo, we know it is possible."
