It has been another challenging qualifying session for PREMA Racing at Silverstone, as the Italian squad ended up with P11 as its best result.
The session saw plenty of track limits infringements and deleted laps which also hit the PREMA camp. Lining up with the Red Bull Junior pairing of Jehan Daruvala and Dennis Hauger, the team could not fight for a spot in the top-10.
The Indian eventually finished in P11, just missing out on P1 on the reverse grid pole for the sprint race, while Dennis Hauger had to be content with P15 after having one of his lap times deleted.
The team will now go back to work in an effort to reverse the situation and bounce back tomorrow.
#1 - Dennis Hauger
"Tough qualifying, obviously not what we wanted. I think we were quite strong in FP, and we're a bit confused overall about what happened in qualifying. We only have to look into qualifying today and keep our heads up. We will go out tomorrow knowing there's definitely an opportunity."
#2 - Jehan Daruvala
"Not the easiest qualifying, obviously outside the top-10, in 11th, is not where you want to be. All in all, we still have two races left, tonight we'll look at what we can improve, and we will try to fight tomorrow and on Sunday."
